The late Stephen S. Parson founded Kaleidoscope Paints Limited in 1970 - the first 100% locally owned paint manufacturing company in Trinidad and Tobago. Over the years, the company has evolved to ensure that at any given point, the needs of its ever-expanding customer base were being adequately met. Quality has always been and continues to be a number one priority at Kaleidoscope Paints Limited.

houseToday, Kaleidoscope is firmly established as one of the leading paint manufacturers in the region. Its products are exported to several countries including Antigua, Belize, Suriname, Dominica, Guyana, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, Grenada and Haiti. The company's success in penetrating new markets has been largely due to Kaleidoscope's commitment to producing quality products and the unflinching dedication of its staff in seeking to bring the best efforts to the task of solving customer problems.

Throughout the 1990's Kaleidoscope expanded and diversified its product range by including an automotive paint division, as well as an 880-colourbank custom- tinted colour system. By 1995, the demand for Kaleidoscope products both locally and abroad, necessitated an expansion of the existing facilities. This resulted in a multi-million dollar project being undertaken, in which the company's daily productive capacity was increased from 7,000 gallons to 21,000 gallons.

iso9001The plant now comprises of modern paint manufacturing and filling facilities that translates into greater efficiency and increased productivity. All laboratory testing is performed in accordance with ASTM test methods, as well as those of the Caribbean Community Standard for Paints. Kaleidoscope has been ISO 9001 Certified since 1995 by SGS - one of the leading quality auditing firms in the world.
